One of the redeeming memories I have of Roger is how hard he pushed me to buy Sam's dated windsurfer.....'its a great sport, Sam really loved using this' and 'it's a great board  hardly used'. Now, in my mid 40s and with a garage of my own, I now realise the need to shift this piece of crop to make way for more 'garage space' and probably an extension to the Feavuour railway! 

I persuaded my parents to take the board all the way to France where the SNCF put a massive hole in it! I think it's still in France Sam if you want it back.... but, I did get an A in DT A level using it to design a windsurfer rack for my Escort! That I tribute to you Roger. 

One of the nicest and most genuine person I had the privilege or knowing.
