Roger took over as Chair of Trustees for Life Education Centres Thames Valley very early on in my LECTV career. It was clear that he had a real passion for helping others and through his introduction to the charity via Rotary, he was determined to make a difference to the lives of young children in the Thames Valley. He was an amazing mentor to me and provided great encouragement to the wider team, but especially to myself and Ellen who went on to take over from me and also worked closely with Roger. He kept the Trust on the straight and narrow with his financial expertise and in so many other ways, but not only did he have an astute business head, he was a delight to work with and I always looked forward to meetings with Roger - he was extremely caring and he made work fun! An immense loss for everyone but what a fabulous legacy he has left. With love Rowena Gaston
